Meet The Speaker
Attila Kett, MD, MBA
Chairman, Department of Anesthesiology
Northwell Health
Dr. Kett earned his medical degree from the University of Pecs in 1990 and completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology in Hungary. He later joined Case Western University as a Postdoctoral Fellow and trained in Obstetric Anesthesia at New York University, where he also earned an Executive MBA from the University of Tennessee.
Since 2002, he has been with Saint Peter’s University Hospital, serving as Chief and later Chair of the Obstetric Anesthesia Division. He directs the Blood Conservation Program and the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Program. A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Kett has led clinical trials, authored numerous publications, and was instrumental in launching the first Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean Section Program in the U.S., focusing on optimizing perioperative care and minimizing opioid use.
Sabatino Leffe, DO
Eastern Region Operations Director, Anesthesiology
Northwell Health
Dr. Sabatino Leffe is the Eastern Region Operations Director of Anesthesiology at Northwell Health, with over 18 years of experience. A board-certified anesthesiologist, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Leffe is committed to improving patient care and operational efficiency in anesthesiology while serving as an Assistant Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. His leadership and clinical expertise are invaluable to Northwell Health and the medical community.
