Mission in Motion: A Conversation with Becca Baumel, Senior Customer Success Manager, iQueue for Infusion Centers

Behind every solution at LeanTaaS is a team of passionate experts dedicated to transforming healthcare operations with the help of AI – the problem solvers who bring empathy, knowledge, and passion to the work of improving patient care. Mission in Motion is our ongoing series that spotlights these team members, whose unique journeys into healthcare and technology reveal the “why” behind our mission to make healthcare more efficient and resilient.

In this edition, we’re featuring Becca Baumel, Senior Customer Success Manager for iQueue for Infusion Centers, whose path to LeanTaaS reflects both curiosity and purpose. With a background in entrepreneurship, Becca’s early career in health tech revealed how powerful technology can be when it improves people’s lives – and how much opportunity still exists to make healthcare operations smarter and more human-centered. Drawn to LeanTaaS by its mission to support vulnerable patient populations, she’s spent the last three years partnering closely with infusion centers across the country to help nurses and leaders streamline workflows, improve access, and enhance the patient experience.

In this video conversation, Becca shares how she approaches “Transformation as a Service” (TaaS) – the LeanTaaS model of blending data-driven insights with hands-on partnership to help centers continuously evolve. She discusses the challenges infusion centers face before adopting iQueue, how her team works to balance nurse workloads and reduce patient wait times, and why long-term collaboration is essential to sustaining operational gains. Becca also reflects on her ongoing partnership with Northwestern Medicine, a standout example of what’s possible when teams share a deep commitment to improvement.

Watch the full interview to hear Becca’s perspective on what makes the infusion space so unique, how she supports nurses and patients through her work, and why she’s proud to be part of a team transforming healthcare operations every day.
