LeanTaaS Shortlisted for 2021 SaaS Awards

SANTA CLARA, Calif.July 27, 2021 LeanTaaS, Inc., a leading Silicon Valley based technology  innovator that transforms core capacity management processes to improve patient access and operational performance, is proud to announce iQueue for Operating Rooms has been named a finalist in the 2021 SaaS Awards Program in the category Best SaaS Product for Healthcare/Pharmaceutical. Over 200 hospitals across more than 40 health systems  – totaling more than 2,100 ORs – rely on iQueue for Operating Rooms to maximize OR access by optimizing block and open time, including four of the country’s 10 largest health systems and over 12 of the top 20 hospitals per U.S. News & World Report

“Throughout the years, we’ve seen first-hand the positive impact iQueue for Operating Rooms makes for patients, surgeons, hospital staff, surgery centers, hospitals and health systems across the country and are honored to see our cloud-based software’s capabilities be formally recognized by such a prestigious award,” said Mohan Giridharadas, LeanTaaS founder and CEO. “With our SaaS-based platform, we are able to configure our platform to meet our customers’ evolving needs and address their specific pain points. As a result of these close and personalized partnerships, we’ve been able to achieve annual growth of over 50% each year for the last two years.”

LeanTaaS enables health systems to improve the utilization of expensive resources and thereby do more with less. This allows hospitals to make key improvements on their asset utilization. In addition to iQueue for Operating Rooms, LeanTaaS’ iQueue product suite includes iQueue for Infusion Centers and iQueue for Inpatient Beds. After implementing Queue for Operating Rooms, health systems have been able to complete 5 to 15 percent more surgeries during business hours without increasing staff levels. These hospitals have also seen increased nurse and physician satisfaction and reduced burnout, along with improved patient access and lower wait-times.

As a result of the challenges caused from managing COVID-19, LeanTaaS recently launched new modules for its existing suite of iQueue for Operating Rooms, Infusion Centers, and Inpatient Beds products. Enhanced iQueue capabilities include the new Case Scheduling module in iQueue for Operating Rooms, nurse planning and executive summary capabilities in iQueue for Infusion Centers and new discharge toolkit in iQueue for Inpatient Beds’ that decreases delays for inpatient discharge in inpatient bed units and promotes patient flow.

“Just as SaaS technologies have been vital in pivoting organizational functions to respond to global crises, they will be essential as we look forward to returning to normal levels of productivity,” said James Williams, head of operations for the SaaS Awards. “We’ve seen remarkably innovative solutions across all conceivable areas of industry, and it’s increasingly difficult for our team to identify the entrants that can’t make it past this shortlist stage. The shortlisted candidates announced today, however, have made it through that first round. They represent truly innovative thinkers in the SaaS industry, whether they’re freshly-funded disruptors or established names.”

Final SaaS Awards winners will be announced on Tuesday 31 August 2021 and the program will return in Spring 2022. Hundreds of organizations entered, with international entries coming from North America, Canada, Australia, UK, Europe and the Middle East.
