Learn more about improving infusion capacity at LeanTaaS’ Transform Virtual Summit

Improving infusion capacity will be a key topic at the upcoming Transform Hospital Operations Virtual Summit on Dec. 7-8, 2021. Infusion center leaders, nurse managers, and schedulers can learn from the experiences of other healthcare professionals whose organizations utilize artificial intelligence and predictive analytics. Through targeted workshops and sessions, infusion center management can hear more about this transformative technology.

Hosted in partnership with Becker’s Hospital ReviewTransform will connect almost 1,500 attendees with health system executives, technology leaders, and industry experts to discuss solutions for the pressing issues facing infusion leaders today, including challenges arising from nurse and staff shortages, reduced chairs, and increased patient wait times.

This two-day event offers content specific to infusion centers throughout the schedule. December 7 will feature an infusion breakout session with Rebecca (Becky) Duchman MSN, MA, RN, NEA-BC, Director Ambulatory Infusion/Treatment Services, Nebraska Medicine

You’ll hear how these facilities unlocked higher volumes with fewer chairs, and even reduced wait times while increasing volumes.

On December 8, plan for the keynote, “Better Healthcare through Better Math: Preparing for the Future” given by Scott Gottlieb, MD, the 23rd U.S. FDA Commissioner, author, and CNBC contributor.  Dr. Gottlieb’s insights on the broader issues facing healthcare as a whole will lead fittingly into the more specific topics in the afternoon’s Infusion Showcase, including “How to Deliver the Right Data for Decision Makers”; “Oncology Pharmacy Challenges and Why Technology Solutions are Needed”; and “How Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is Transforming Infusion Operations Using Predictive Analytics.” LeanTaaS’ Ashley Joseph, VP of Client Services for iQueue for Infusion Centers, will be the closing speaker for the day, presenting how to rethink the approach to nursing assignments.

These workshops and sessions share a common thread — the utilization of LeanTaaS’ iQueue for Infusion Centers solution in improving infusion capacity. On average, iQueue for Infusion Centers users have reduced patient wait times by over 30% and accommodated rising patient volumes without adding chairs, nurses, or operating hours.

Want to learn more about LeanTaaS in general and its operating principles? Mohan Giridharadas, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of LeanTaaS, will present the “Better Healthcare Through Math” approach to healthcare optimization at the opening plenary session on Dec. 7. Giridharadas has stated that “Transform will feature leading health system executives who will be discussing some of the most pressing issues facing the healthcare industry today, including optimizing asset utilization, why digital transformation is necessary to stay competitive, and transforming operations for operating rooms, infusion centers, and inpatient beds.”
